LEAGUES WILL START THE LAST WEEK IN APRIL! Sign ups are in the Proshop.
At Down River we offer three leagues: Tuesday 8-Man Industrial League, Tuesday Evening Scramble League, and the Thursday 2-Man League. The Tuesday 8-Man, 9 Hole League is sponsored by a local business and the top 4 scores on each team are taken each week to accumulate a team score.
The Tuesday Evening League is a Two Person Scramble (9 holes) with team points being accumulated each week to determine the cycle winners. The Thursday 2-Man, 9 Hole League is a competitive league and only for committed golfers.
Each week, teams play in a match against 2 other men with a point system. There is a playoff in each league at the end of the regular season to determine the league champions.
Tuesday Industrial 8 Man League
The Tuesday 8-Man, 9 Hole League is sponsored by local businesses. The top 4 scores on each team are counted each week to accumulate a team score. There are two cycles of play and after the second cycle, the league playoffs begins. At the end of the season, the annual league award’s banquet is held at Down River.
Thursday 2 Man Match Play
The Thursday 2-Man League., 9 Hole League is a competitive league and only for committed golfers. Each week, teams play in a match against 2 other men with a point system. There is a playoff at the end of the regular season to determine the league champions.
